Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a full dim sum feast, TC Pastry has something for everyone. Come and indulge in the flavors of traditional Cantonese cuisine at this charming eatery.
Comforting wonton soup (8 wontons, no noodles) for $6.50 + tax. Lots of Cantonese speaking customers coming in for quick orders. Great place for no frills comfort food with a few small tables to eat.
I got a snack here recently. Pork bun and egg custard did not disappoint. I want to come back and try more things.
Come here if you want cheap, reasonably high quality food, particularly near the end of the day! We came here after 5pm and a lot of the foods were sold at heavy discounts, particularly the hot dog buns. We also ordered the siu mai and teochew dumplings--the total for all this was around $10! Foods left us filled, but could have been fresher and hotter--it seemed like they were sitting in the display case all day, but that's what you expect for such great prices. There's no interior seating, but you can eat at the nearby Golden Gate park! Service was friendly and the server gave us free curry dumplings to try, which was so nice!
Was in the area for lunch and stopped by here again for their Hot Spicy Wontons. 5 for $2.85 is a pretty good deal. The ladies there today were nice. Customer service and experience was good. Didn't feel rushed like last time so that's why I'm updating my review. 05.12.2024 | Sunday @2:30pm
We wanted dim sum so we dropped by here after we got boba! No regrets but this spot have so much options in dim sum! They have homemade "tofu fa"! Omg it was sooo fresh and perfect! We also got egg tarts, fried stuffed tofu, siu mai, fried curry pastry, dried shrimps rice rolls. Price is decent. We would come back here next time!
I decided to stop by this place to try out their dim sum on a Sunday morning. The place didn't seem too empty and service was quick! When we ordered the dim sum, the worker got some fresh ones from the back! That was really nice of them. We ordered a bunch of food but it was a little pricey for the amount that we got. The total came out to $40. I got the pork buns, xíu mại, fried taro, cilantro and pork dumplings, har gow, and wonton soup. The food was pretty good but nothing too crazy. What I really liked was the fried taro but the flavors was inconsistent because one of the taros tasted more flavorful than the other. I really liked the wonton soup too! The noodles tasted okay but the wontons itself were delicious. Over good place but a little bit pricey.
Not quite a hole in the wall, but it feels like it. Menu is available along with items on display. Staff is friendly. The prices are the norm and in my case, it was three items for $4.20. Portion wise, the items I ordered are a bit larger. The dumplings were full of shrimp. The egg rolls were vegetarian. These items were room temperature. Flavor was good and very filling. Overall, I'm pleased.
